Product Description

JSD-B20 Slim Pedestal Swing Turnstile for Business Campus EntrancesOverview

A narrow-column pedestrian gate built to keep busy entrances open, orderly and visually light. The JSD-B20 houses its drive inside a slim pedestal of brushed 304 stainless steel, so a lobby or campus checkpoint gains a controlled lane without gaining a bulky cabinet. A clear acrylic leaf swings aside in roughly half a second, and a DC brushless motor paired with an industrial ARM control board keeps every cycle quiet, repeatable and rated for more than three million movements.

Access is handled by RFID as standard. Where a site already runs biometric or code-based entry, face recognition terminals, QR scanners, fingerprint readers and ID card devices can be added to the same lane. Automatic reset, reverse-travel detection, collision buffering and a fire-alarm link are built in, and the leaf releases automatically when power drops so that evacuation is never blocked.

Design HighlightsSlim pedestal housing

A 1.2 mm brushed stainless steel column gives the lane a clean professional line while taking up very little floor area, which suits entrance halls where sightlines matter.

RFID-first access control

Card readers run as the default credential, with face, QR, fingerprint and ID options available on the same controller so a site can mix credentials lane by lane.

ARM control platform

Configuration is digital, encrypted and managed from the controller, which simplifies parameter changes and keeps operating logic protected.

Self-resetting passage logic

If a visitor does not complete a pass within the configured delay, the leaf returns to its resting position on its own and the lane stays secure.

Brushless drive and tunable speed

Opening and closing rates can be matched to pedestrian volume, from quiet office traffic to peak-hour flows, without sacrificing smooth movement.

Impact and reverse protection

Abnormal reverse force or a sudden impact triggers reverse thrust and buffered travel, reducing wear on the mechanism and lowering the risk of pinching.

Protection mode

When something blocks the leaf for an extended period, the controller steps into a protective state and resumes normal operation once a valid signal arrives.

Emergency and power-fail behaviour

A fire alarm signal holds the lane open for evacuation, and a power failure releases the leaf for free passage before normal blocking resumes on restart.

Where It FitsBusiness centers

Separates staff, tenant and visitor traffic at a reception line while keeping the frontage open and presentable.

Office buildings

Pairs card or biometric credentials with attendance records so a single lane handles both entry control and time tracking.

Commercial complexes

Directs footfall through defined lanes during peak hours and keeps unauthorised visitors out of service corridors.

Residential communities

Gives residents a quick, hands-light way in while tightening control over who reaches the lobby.

Government buildings

Creates a controlled checkpoint at public counters and adds a second layer of screening before restricted areas.

Technology parks

Supports centralised access rules across multiple buildings and keeps pedestrian data visible to site security.

FAQWhich credentials can the JSD-B20 accept

RFID cards are the baseline. Face recognition, QR code scanning, fingerprint reading and ID card verification can be added where the site requires them.

Is it suited to a business center reception line

Yes. The slim pedestal and brushed steel finish are designed for visible front-of-house entrances rather than back-of-house corridors.

How does the gate react to an impact

Built-in collision buffering and reverse thrust absorb the force, which protects both the mechanism and the person passing through.

What happens if the power fails

The leaf releases for free passage so people can leave without delay, and normal blocking logic returns once power is back.

Can the closing speed be changed on site

Yes. Several speed levels are selectable from the controller to match traffic volume and security policy.

Can it be installed outdoors

The 304 stainless steel housing is built for both indoor and outdoor positions within the stated temperature range.

Which communication options are available

RS485 is standard, and TCP/IP networking can be specified for integration with a central management platform.

How long is the mechanism expected to last

The drive and leaf assembly are rated for more than three million open and close cycles under normal use.
