Product Description

JSD-B08 Swing Turnstile — 1.5mm Stainless Steel Housing with RFID Ticket Validation

Where every visitor has to prove a valid ticket before walking in, the JSD-B08 is the lane that keeps the queue moving. A 1.5mm formed stainless steel body carries an RFID ticket reader and a fast swing arm; once a card or ticket reads clean, the arm releases in about 0.2 seconds, so ticketed visitors clear the lane instead of pausing on the threshold. Lanes can run single or bi-directional, and the same controller accepts QR scanners, face terminals, fingerprint readers or ID devices if a venue later changes how it issues tickets.

Why Projects Pick This Lane

Ticket-first entry, not key-card entry

The built-in RFID reader validates each ticket before the arm unlocks, and the controller keeps room for extra readers when a project adds QR, face or ID verification.

1.5mm formed housing that holds its shape

Panels are formed from 1.5mm 304 stainless steel in a brushed finish over a welded frame, so the cabinet stays square and the arm pivot stays aligned through years of shoulder-to-shoulder traffic.

Roughly 0.2 second arm release

Arm release speed is fast enough to keep a busy gate line flowing at peak hours, and the opening and closing speed can be tuned to the crowd pattern of each site.

Four pairs of infrared sensors as standard

Sensor pairs watch the lane for tailgating, reverse entry and forced passage, and the controller reports the event instead of silently letting a second person slip through.

Rebound protection instead of shear pins

Torque limiting stops the arm and the lane resets itself after a push-through attempt or a collision with luggage and trolleys, so staff do not have to walk over and re-home the mechanism.

Defined behaviour in an emergency

A fire alarm input drives the lane open on demand, and the arms swing free when power is lost so the passage works as a normal exit route.

ARM control board with encrypted settings

The industrial controller stores lane parameters digitally, supports password-protected configuration, and exposes RS485 as standard with TCP/IP available for networked sites.

Arm finish chosen per sightline

Clear acrylic arms keep the entrance visually light; stainless arms take more contact. Both mount on the same hub, so a mixed site can standardise on one cabinet type.

Ordering and Delivery

One set is enough to start a pilot lane; monthly output reaches 1000 sets for rollouts across several gates. Standard lead time is 5 to 8 working days, packing is export-grade wooden case, payment is by T/T, and the price band of USD300 to USD1500 follows the drive, arm and reader configuration you select.

Buyer Questions

Can the reader be changed after installation if we switch ticketing systems?

Yes. The controller accepts QR code scanners, face recognition terminals, fingerprint readers and ID verification devices alongside the RFID reader, so upgrading does not mean replacing the cabinet.

How wide a lane can we build, and does the width change the housing?

Clear passage can be set up to 1000mm. The cabinet is the same; the arm length and hub setting are what change with the width.

What stops a visitor from walking through behind a ticketed person?

The four infrared sensor pairs watch the lane and flag tailgating or reverse passage to the controller, which keeps the arm locked and raises the alarm.

What happens if someone forces the arm?

The drive limits torque, holds the arm and resets once the obstruction is gone. Continuous abnormal force puts the lane into protection mode rather than damaging the mechanism.

Can it stand outdoors in a coastal or rainy site?

The 304 brushed stainless body and the -10°C to 60°C working range cover indoor and outdoor installation; for salt-heavy sites, the stainless grade and finish can be discussed at order stage.

How does the lane talk to our gate management software?

RS485 is standard. TCP/IP networking is an option when the software needs each lane on the site network.
